Come back to a house in Bethany this Easter!

Read: Matthew 26:6–13 and John 12:1–8

Look at the focal verse: “Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume” (John 12:3 NIV).

Reflect: When we throw parties for those we love, we put thought into whom we’ll invite and what we’ll serve. We know how we want our guests to feel, and we often make extravagant plans so that the honoree receives the recognition he or she deserves.

Organizing, Part 1: A Strategy for Servant Leadership

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11 NIV).

Do you ever go to start a project and find yourself cleaning your house instead? It’s amazing how many things can keep me from doing the creative things I really love. It usually starts because I’m missing one thing I need to get moving on my project, and in the process of finding that thing, I end up trying to organize the junk drawer or using granite cleaner to scrub the island in my kitchen. Have you been there?

She Leads—A Valentine Love Story

On Valentine’s Day, Maegan, meaning pearl, was born. Imagine how her family felt and the jewel they received that Valentine’s Day. This precious, left-handed young woman of God now continues to grow in love with His Word as she finds pleasure using her artistic penmanship to glorify God.

God’s Word, the most beautiful love story we have, tells of a God who continually woos His creation.
