Growing In Christ

3 Communication Tips to Understand and Be Understood

Struggles in relationships can lead to feelings of loneliness, frustration, anger, and even hopelessness. But God has the power to heal and bring about reconciliation in our relationships.

You may have friends, family members, and many others around you, but do you feel alone? If you’re struggling in your relationships, you may come to feel alone – I know I often do. If God intends for us to have healthy, fulfilling relationships, why do I feel lonely?

Easter Devotional

If we want to grow as Christian leaders in a hurting world, we’ll need to connect with Jesus – the true vine and the One who gives us life! This Easter, take a nine-day devotional journey back to the cross with Christian Women’s Leadership Center. This daily devotional starts on Saturday, April 13 and ends on Easter Sunday.

Throughout this devotional, we'll look at nine people who experienced the cross of Christ firsthand. You’ll have the opportunity to put yourself into the scene and personally reflect on each experience.

Come back to a house in Bethany this Easter!

Read: Matthew 26:6–13 and John 12:1–8

Look at the focal verse: “Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume” (John 12:3 NIV).

Reflect: When we throw parties for those we love, we put thought into whom we’ll invite and what we’ll serve. We know how we want our guests to feel, and we often make extravagant plans so that the honoree receives the recognition he or she deserves.
